BAMCEF Calls Upon Doctors to Come Forward,

Lack of people’s representatives is at the root of the original inhabitants (mulniwasis) of India being beset with a plethora of problems. Through the Poona Pact, Gandhi, conspiratorially deprived SCs and STs of separate electorates and thrust upon them a joint electorate system. Because of that, the mulniwasi bahujan samaj could never get proper representation. These views were expressed by Waman Meshram, the national president of the Bharat Mukti Morcha, while addressing a conclave of medical practitioners held under the aegis of the SC/ST Medical Association, Delhi, at the Russian Cultural Centre at Mandi House on Saturday, 9 February. Meshram said that there are 131 SC/ST MPs but they cannot talk about any problem of their community because they are not the representatives of their community. They are the nominated representatives of the Congress, the BJP and other political parties. That is why the doctors of mulniwasi bahujan samaj should act as representatives of their communities and lead society. On this occasion, Dr Jitendra Prasad, Director, Health Services of the Government of India was also present. Dr Dharmendra, Dr JK Das, Dr Rajpal, Dr Ratansingh, Dr Kuldeep, Dr LR Chavan, Dr Rajesh, and others, also expressed their views.
