Compulsory paper on Ambedkar in DU

Delhi: There will be a compulsory paper Understanding Ambedkar for the students of Political Science in Delhi University. This was announced by Prof. Ujjwal Kumar, the head of the political science department of the varsity at a function organized here on April 13 by Youth for Social Justice. The function was organized with the objective of apprising all DU students with the available research material on Dr Ambedkar. At the outset, Prof. Sukumar garlanded a picture of Dr Ambedkar. Addressing the function, he said that we don’t have to work for a particular caste. We have to work for the class which is still backward in       the society. Among others, Prof. Rekha also spoke on the occasion.
